About Mrs. Thiebeau
I began teaching in the Deer Valley School district in 1981. During my years of service in the district, I have taught Kindergarten, Transitional 1st, Multi-Age (grades 1st-3rd), 3rd grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade. The 2023-2024 school year begins my 17th year at Sierra Verde and 20th year as a reading specialist.
I received my BA in Special Education and Elementary Education from St. Joseph College and my masters in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading from Northern Arizona University.
I have a passion for reading and love the fact that I get to experience the joy of learning to read anew each year with the students I work with.
