The California Science Center is an awesome place to visit when you are in California. This is also the new home for the Space Shuttle Endeavour. I have been there multiple times and have seen the space shuttle in person, it is breath taking. Especially knowing that it has been in space and seeing how big it really is in person. Definitely a must if you love space and space travel.

 

EarthSky is a website that I visit routinely. It is a wealth of science information and exploration. This site will definitely be your favorite if you love space like I do.

Here you will find information about space exploration, which includes mission information. This site is also one of my favorites.

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory is located in California. It is the famous home of the Curiosity rover that is currently exploring Mars. You will find a lot of information on space and exploration topics.

Student Science is a great resource and tool for any science student. You will find current articles on various science related topics. Besides the article for you to read, you will also find "power words" that were used in the article with definition. Virgin Galactic is a website that I use to check on progress of commercial flight to outer space and back. This website will share information about milestones that this company has gone through to be able to send consumers to space, if you have the money.

 

World View is another company that is in the race to make commercial flight into outer space and back for the public. However; this is not done with a conventional aircraft with wings, but a balloon. This company is the alternative to Virgin Galactic. This site I also routinely check for progress.
