Mrs. Amy Manny

My name is Amy Manny and I will one be one of the Reading Specialists this year. I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of our new friends this year.

I would like to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in the Phoenix area.  I have been married to a fabulous man for more than 30 years. I have two children, a daughter that is in college and a son who just graduated from college. They are truly wonderful! We enjoy camping, traveling and attending the kid’s activities.

This will be my 25th year of teaching in the Deer Valley School District. I have taught 1^st grade, Kindergarten, and Reading. I absolutely love watching them grow throughout the year! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from ASU and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from NAU. I hold endorsements in Reading, Early Childhood and SEI.

Both as a parent and as a teacher I feel it is necessary to keep lines of communication open to keep informed about what is happening in each other’s busy lives.
