Welcome to Choir at Sierra Verde STEAM Academy

At Sierra Verde, we offer choir opportunities for students in grades 3–8. Our program includes:

• 3rd–5th Grade Choir: Meets before school (Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:40am-8:30am), open to all interested students. This group focuses on building singing skills, teamwork, and confidence while exploring fun and varied music.
• 5th and 6th Grade Choir: Rehearses twice a week during the school day. Students continue developing their voices, learn to read music, and perform as an ensemble at school and community events.
• 7th and 8th Grade Choir: Meets during the school day and performs at concerts, assessments, assemblies, and special events. Students work on advanced singing techniques, music literacy, and teamwork.

Each choir is a supportive team where every member is valued. We encourage PEAK behavior—Problem Solving, Being Engaged, Being Accountable, and Being Kind. All choirs perform throughout the year, and every singer helps create a positive, respectful environment.

Whether you’re just starting out or have sung for years, you’ll find a place to belong and grow in Sierra Verde Choir. Get ready to make new friends, learn new songs, and share your music with our school and community!
