I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Multilingual/Multicultural Education with an emphasis in Elementary and Middle School Education in 2005. In 2008, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters of Arts Degree in Bilingual Education with an emphasis in Elementary and Middle School Education. I also have a full English as a Second Language Endorsement and a Reading Specialist Endorsement. I have taught 2nd-4th grades for the past 14 years. This will be my 15th year teaching and my second year at Sierra Verde.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Tim and I have been married for 15 years. We have two amazing daughters. Audry is 14 and starting high school at Mountain Ridge. Ashley is 11 and will be in 7th grade at SV.

We love to travel!  During the school year, we stay busy with dance and basketball. 

One interesting fact about me is that I come from a family of educators. My parents are both retired teachers. My brother, sister, and I all began teaching the same year. In addition to that, my husband is also in education. Needless to say, education is very important to us.
